What you’d do
Productionize AI: Bridge the gap between AI models and mission-ready systems. You’ll build the secure, scalable infrastructure that makes AI operational.
Architect Secure Pipelines: Design and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and data handling workflows in cloud and hybrid environments.
Master the Ecosystem: Leverage Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, Gemini models, and GPU-based compute to build the next generation of federal AI capabilities.
Solve the Scaling Puzzle: Optimize model performance and deployment loops, ensuring systems are resilient, accredited, and ready for the mission.
Continuous Improvement: We want people who are never satisfied with the status quo. You’re always looking for ways to automate and optimize the AI stack.
What we’d expect
5+ years of Systems Engineering: Hands-on experience with production-grade infrastructure, with a strong focus on data-intensive or AI/ML workloads.
Active TS/SCI Clearance: Most of our work requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph.
AI/ML Infrastructure Depth: Familiarity with GPU compute, vector databases, and the operational side of LLMs or RAG architectures.
Full-Stack Awareness: A functional understanding of how networking, security, and storage interact to support AI workloads.
Craft-Focused: You learn new languages and architectural patterns because you’re genuinely interested in how they can solve mission challenges.
Nice to have
Experience with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI or Vertex AI Search/Conversation.
Proficiency with Python, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
Prior experience deploying models into secure or air-gapped enclaves.
